Job spec:
Responsible for Radio Network Planning and Design for MIC TCHAD
• New Network planning and design using RNP Planning Tool ASSET/ILSA
• Radio planning activity management
• Frequency Planning and tuning
• Radio planning team management
• Management reporting
• Grid and pattern optimisation and tuning
• Training Team
• Grid and pattern optimisation and tuning
• Managing Drive test, Tool : Neptune
• Drive test analysis (Using, Neptune and MapInfo), problems highlighting and
• Appropriates solutions recommendations (Re-design, Parameters tuning, new sites, Frequency plan tuning)
• Site survey team management and follow up
• Sites identification and survey to fulfil the coverage and traffic requirement
• Coverage and traffic analysis, network dimensioning.
• KPI analysis (CDR, CSSR) and actions plan recommendation to improve the network quality
• RNP and optimisation teams training
• Introduction of new technologies with field trial
