Kindly share your ideas, thoughts and include Testimonials about Our ParaKonTel. Those will be collected & documented on our ParaKonTel Yearbook 2008.

The ParaKonTel Yearbook will also highlight our achievements and the journey towards becoming one communities. We are looking to all members worldwide who helped build ParaKonTel over the past year to share their personal experiences. Examples of stories could be jobs searching, problem solving, knowledge sharing, job offers, technology breakthroughs and personal career transformations.

The stories should be in English and/or Indonesian.  We regret that we can’t accept any submissions in other languages. Also please provide us with one photo of yourself (portrait photo)  and up to two additional photos illustrating the event or experience you are writing about (if any).

GulfTalent.com’s fourth annual report on salaries “Gulf Compensation Trends 2008″ has just been released.

The report, which is published every year at this time, is one of the most respected and widely read sources of research on employment and salary trends in the region, used extensively by professionals, employers and policymakers. Key highlights of the report include:

• Average salaries in the Gulf increased by 11.4% this year, compared to 9.0% last year
• Sectors enjoying the highest pay rise were construction and banking
• Job categories having the biggest raise were Engineering and Finance
• Drivers of pay rise include growing competition for talent, weak US dollar, and rising inflation particularly in rents
• Average rents in the Gulf increased by 19% this year

Terima Kasih atas partisipasi aktifnya dlm membesarkan ParaKonTel Global Group ini, semoga spt yang diharapkan dlm misi & visinya (pls feedback jika ada tambahan misi & visi yg lain), ParaKonTel dpt memajukan Telco Indonesia termasuk pemain2 didalamnya.

Hingga saat ini jumlah member ParaKonTel baru mencapai 505 org, masih sangat jauh dari jumlah sebenarnya para pemain di dunia Telco baik yg di Indonesia maupun yg sdg tugas overseas. Milestone bulan october 500 member telah tercapai, dan milestone bulan november adalah 700 member dgn min 50-100 member aktif. Milestone tambahan adalah DB ParaKonTel dapat terupdate minimal 30%.

Milestone hanya tercapai dgn bantuan dari teman2 utk mempromosikan Global Group ParaKonTel ini. Tolong disampaikan kepada calon member baru utk mengisi pre-screening questions sebelum keanggotaannya dpt diapprove oleh salah satu dari 8 Admin ParaKonTel, sehingga member ParaKonTel murni dari Telco (utk IT bidang tertentu dpt dipertimbangkan) dan murni berasal dr Indonesia.

Last but not least, utk member yg posting OOT (out of topic) mgkn bisa diminimalisir (dr Admin ada ketentuan khusus masalah ini), dan tolong diperbanyak sharing article atau masalah seputar Telecom.
